You no longer need to buy an expensive dual-screen flagship to enjoy the appeal of a two-screen phone. UGREEN has introduced a creative accessory for the iPhone 18 Pro series, the Magic E Ink Screen Case, which adds a customizable rear display to the phone through a case, delivering a personalized dual-screen effect at accessory-level cost.

The case comes in an elegant burgundy colorway and features a six-color E Ink display on the back that can show favorite photos, memos and a wide range of custom graphics and text. Although it cannot reproduce the dynamic animation of high-end dual-screen devices, it is more than enough to give your phone a distinctive look of its own.

At the earlier IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, UGREEN had already launched a liquid-cooled MagSafe power bank, continuing its run of innovation in consumer accessories. Alongside the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro, UGREEN has introduced three companion products at once: a 45W charger, a phone screen protector and this much-discussed E Ink screen case, which turns the phone's back cover into a canvas for creative expression.

As a protective case, drop protection remains its core function. The product features a high-strength impact-resistant frame, built-in air cushion pockets at all four corners and a raised lip around the camera area, cushioning the impact of drops and protecting the camera from scratches and knocks.

The biggest highlight is the E Ink display on the back. Using the companion app, users can transfer images and text notes to the rear screen. Thanks to the physical properties of E Ink, a static image consumes no power once the screen has refreshed, so content can remain on the phone's back cover for long periods, creating a look that is entirely your own.

Of course, this innovative accessory involves trade-offs. With the case installed, wireless charging is affected and MagSafe magnetic accessories can no longer be used normally. For users who prioritize personalization and want a phone that looks different from everyone else's, however, these are acceptable small costs.

It should be noted that the E Ink display only supports static images and text and cannot serve as a viewfinder for the rear camera. UGREEN has not piled on unnecessary features: the case carries no extra battery or processor, keeping the structure simple and the function focused on displaying images and personalized content.
