
On August 27, 2026, the 4th ePaper Industry Innovation Conference (ePIC 2026) successfully concluded at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an) during IOTE 2026. Guided by the ePaper Industry Alliance and organized by CINNO · ePaper Insight, with support from the Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association and the Shenzhen Commercial Display Promotion Association, the conference brought together leading enterprises, top experts, industry organizations and global partners across the full ePaper supply chain. Over the course of a day, participants reviewed a year of innovation, explored industry development trends and discussed new opportunities in low-carbon displays and smart IoT.
The event drew nearly 300 guests, including Bai Weimin (former Deputy Inspector of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), Hong Jimao (General Manager of E Ink Holdings and representative of the EPIA Council Chair unit), Chen Rengui (Senior Vice President of BOE and Executive Chair of the EPIA Council), Xiao Xuming (General Manager of Xingtai Technology and Executive Vice Chair of the EPIA Council), Guo Dexuan (Director of the Commercial Display Branch of the China Electronic Information Industry Federation and President of the Shenzhen Commercial Display Promotion Association), Yang Weiqi (Executive President of the Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association), Alessandro Bassi (President of the Italian IoT Association), Salvatore Cimmino (Co-founder of the Canadian IoT Association), Zhu Bangwen (Founding President of the Taiwan, China AI Industry Association), as well as vice-chairman units, council members and entrepreneurs from across the upstream and downstream ePaper ecosystem.
Opening Remarks: Mapping the Future of the Industry

Bai Weimin delivered the opening address. Over many years she has consistently supported and promoted the high-quality development of the ePaper industry, helping to safeguard standards, technological innovation and ecosystem growth.

Chen Rengui then took the stage, outlining the direction of the industry from a global perspective and boosting confidence across the sector.

Yang Weiqi highlighted the broad prospects created by integrating IoT with ePaper and announced the joint launch of the Düsseldorf Physical AI Technology Expo in May 2027, inviting IoT companies to join the overseas delegation.
Together, the three speakers summarized the industry's achievements while looking ahead to its vast growth potential, underscoring the long-term value and innovation momentum of ePaper.

Zuo Qiang, Secretary General of the ePaper Industry Alliance, presented the "2025-2026 ePaper Industry Innovation Review." The report systematically covered the year's technological breakthroughs, product innovations and creative applications, presenting a complete picture of the industry's growth trajectory and innovative DNA.
