On June 3, 2026, the second meeting of the second Executive Council of the ePaper Industry Alliance (EPIA) resolved to add a Deputy Secretary-General position to expand the secretariat's industry service functions. Following consultations with the Executive Council, CINNO Research founder Sally Chen was appointed as EPIA Deputy Secretary-General, effective July 1.

Sally Chen holds a solid professional foundation, with a bachelor's degree in Polymer Materials and Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and a master's degree in Business Administration from the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, combining dual expertise in industrial technology and financial management.

With years of industry experience, she has built deep expertise in the display and ePaper supply chain. From 2005 to 2012, she worked at a leading domestic panel manufacturer, responsible for production planning, product development, strategic planning, and serving as Special Assistant to the Board of Directors, gaining in-depth understanding of panel industry operations and development. In December 2012, Sally Chen founded CINNO Research, focusing on the domestic optoelectronics supply chain and providing market research and investment advisory services across the panel industry and its upstream and downstream segments, supporting high-quality industry development.

Since 2017, she has focused on the ePaper sector. In December 2021, she led the establishment of the ePaper industry observation platform ePaper Insight. She has also worked closely with EPIA over the long term — since 2022, she has continuously compiled and annually updated the ePaper Industry Blue Book, and since 2023, she has led the compilation of the bilingual Chinese-English ePaper Industry White Paper, providing authoritative data support and industry reference for ePaper industry development.

In her new role, Sally Chen will be responsible for key areas including government-enterprise liaison and corporate financial services. Leveraging her expertise in industry research, resource integration, and investment advisory services, she will build bridges for government-enterprise communication, empower member enterprise development, and support the standardization, scale, and high-quality development of the domestic ePaper supply chain.
