Color ePaper features low power consumption, paper-like display, and a flicker-free backlight-less design. Its application scenarios are expanding from digital signage, public information displays, and eReaders into home, office, and daily life. As consumer demand grows for comfortable viewing, low-interference displays, and stylish tech products, ePaper is emerging as a new display medium that blends technology with lifestyle aesthetics.

Global ePaper leader E Ink will present a personalized ePaper application showcase at COMPUTEX 2026, bringing together color ePaper digital photo frames, ePaper monitors, phone-sized reading devices, and a range of lifestyle products — demonstrating how ePaper is moving from reading, retail, and public information displays into personal spaces and next-generation office scenarios.

For the first time at COMPUTEX 2026, E Ink has gathered multiple global brands to jointly showcase color ePaper digital photo frames, presented as a theme wall featuring diverse sizes and designs ranging from 7.3-inch to 40.5-inch — with 10-inch and 13.3-inch as the current mainstream specifications, making this a key highlight of the exhibition. Many of the products on display adopt E Ink Spectra™ 6 color ePaper technology, offering vivid colors, paper-like display, flicker-free backlight-less viewing, and low power consumption — naturally presenting family photos, illustrations, digital art, and lifestyle information. They meet needs ranging from home decoration and desktop display to wall-mounted art.

As color ePaper display technology continues to evolve, digital photo frames have transformed from photo-playback devices into new carriers combining art display, ambient atmosphere creation, and smart information display. Since ePaper consumes power only during image updates, products can display for extended periods without external power cables — making desktop displays, wall-mounted art, commercial space decoration, and smart home integration more flexible while reducing cable clutter. The exhibition area also features products that are already available or commercially purchasable, with online channel and sales information displayed for visitors to explore further after experiencing them firsthand.

Exhibiting ePaper photo frame brands include: Aelig, AURA, Bloomin8, InkJoy, Kokonna, PocketBook, Reflection Frame, SMARTWIZ+ art, SwitchBot, SWISH, YeconTech, and Aipusi (listed alphabetically by brand name).

Beyond digital photo frames, the ePaper monitor (eMonitor) market is also seeing broader development. Brands including Dasung, Bigme, and AOC continue to release ePaper screen products, while laptop brands are also investing in related applications — reflecting how ePaper technology is extending from reading devices into a wider range of productivity tools and personalized display scenarios. Driven by trends in remote work, hybrid office setups, and digital minimalism, ePaper's application potential in desktop work environments and personal spaces is drawing significant attention.

In recent years, phone-sized ePaper reading devices have gradually become a trend — positioned as stylish, tech-forward personal accessories. More consumers are treating ePaper products as part of daily styling, lifestyle, and digital minimalism practice, extending ePaper applications from functional reading devices into lifestyle aesthetics and personal tech accessories.

Through this COMPUTEX 2026 personalized ePaper application showcase, E Ink aims to work with ecosystem partners to expand the creative possibilities of ePaper in consumer applications. From digital photo frames and ePaper monitors to phone-sized reading devices, ePaper is becoming an essential display medium for digital lifestyle aesthetics — with its low power consumption, natural display, and space-blending qualities.
